It has been a busy 2016-17 winter for Linda and I. We mixed attending 3 (Wild Sheep, SCI & Western Expo) conventions with some sight seeing and dual sport motorcycle riding. The highlight of our winter was visiting our 2 daughters and their families in Utah. In January we added another “Vremski”, each daughter has 2 children.
I work for a aerial mapping company in the summer months and helped them evaluate a new airplane to add to the fleet. We flew the Aero Commander to Alaska in March. I also attended 2 Alaska Big Game Commercial Services Board meetings in December and March.
We are just getting our feet under us again and getting back into the swing of things back home.
We are going to make this a weekly blog, at least that is what Linda told me I was going to do.
So next week we are going to talk about moose hunting in our concession in the Wrangell St Elias National Park & Preserve. We will discuss logistics, gear, rifles, camps and terrain. We will also discuss as much of all the other small but important components of Alaska Moose hunting. It is a much more relaxed and enjoyable hunt than you might think. Our hunting area, horses and most importantly our expert guides make this a great experience.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding moose hunting in Alaska and Wrangell Mountains moose hunting in particular
